Question:
What are the economic factors influencing abortion decision making? Please evaluate the example in depth and come up with more economic factors. You should have at least four paragraphs.
For example:
On the economics in abortion decisions, medical bills are one thing, and they are a real concern. Having a baby is generally much more expensive than an abortion, strictly from a medical billing perspective. The bigger economic consideration, however, is probably *everything else* - the enormous cost of raising a child, not only in terms of what the child needs growing up, but also in terms of the sacrifices in time, energy, and so on one must make to be a decent parent. From that point of view, it shouldn't be hard to see how concerns of economic justice might weigh on abortion decisions - if, for instance, you don't think that having a child shouldn't compete with preferring a lower-paying career path, or if you think that parenting while poor shouldn't be so extra costly to both parent and child, you might worry about how the realities of economic justice affect real-life decisions on whether or not to abort.
