What if your state decided to implement a law that allowed all persons to be stopped at any time to determine if they were legal citizens of the United States? The state legislature is responding to a threat by a terrorist organization to bomb the capitol building. How would you respond to such a law? What would the Supreme Court say about such a law?

Rather than posting "mini papers," course discussions are intended to simulate a live discussion with a comprehensive, supported response to the main post discussion prompts. Unless specifically requested to do so in the Discussion Question posting instructions, do not use attachments in your discussion postings.

By 11:59 PM (EST) Sunday, you are required to respond to a minimum of two other posts in each discussion question. Your interaction should:
