A choice that I made in my life was leaving on campus for a job offer that I received back home in Georgia. The benefits that came was the fact that I had the chance to work in my career field while still pursing my education. The cost that came along was that I lost many scholarships from switching to online, lost activities that I was involved in and even friendships. A time in my life when comparing marginal benefits and marginal costs was inappropriate is when I went to Universal Studios and couldn’t decide if I wanted the three-day weekend pass or if I wanted the 5-day pass which was cheaper. This was a hard one because I couldn’t decide if I wanted to be at work making more money or if I wanted to finally enjoy myself and this well-deserved vacation.
