- After studying the relationship between water viscosity and temperature, taking temperature range from 5 to 50 ⁰C. Evaluate the relationship and determine the parameters that affect it (Refer toexperiment1 as well).
- Find the flow rate and pump head between the two reservoirs if two pumps in series and two pumps in parallel are used. Compare the findings using both systems highlighting the merits of different solutions.
- Illustrateyoursingle, twopumpsin parallelandtwo pumpsinseries layoutsproperly.
- Find the total head loss for the pipe system connecting between reservoirs A and B. Use DarcyWeisbachapproachforthemajorhead losscalculation.(Refer also toheadlossexperiment)
- For the same pipe in section 1.4 find the major head loss using Manning equation. Discuss thedifferencesandsimilaritiesbetweenthethreeapproachesforheadlosscalculations(DarcyWeisbach,Hazen Williams and Manning).
