You were recently hired as a Virtualization Architect for Contoso Corporation. You have been highly recommended as being a creative and cost driven virtualization solution designer. Contoso has 1400 employees across 2 locations, Toronto Ontario and Santiago Chile. You have been provided with a i7 six core laptop with Windows 11, VMware workstation Pro, 64 GB memory and 1TB of storage. Contoso has a server room located in Toronto containing six physical servers, and networking hardware. There is one air conditioner, and no backup power. Santiago has a small room that contains some networking equipment with no cooling and a backup UPS that keeps the network hardware running for 24 hours. Contoso will be relocating the Toronto office to Barrie Ontario. The new office will have a smaller server room with backup power and enough cooling for the room with limited hardware. Contoso would like to build a new virtualization environment in the new location to reduce the number of physical servers and keep the heat generated to a minimum. They also would like a backup environment just in case of hardware failures.
