Your Career Plan should include the following: 1. Digital Career Plan: Provide three (3) changes or strategies that you will make to your digital career planning. Explain why you will make those changes? Or, if you think your digital career planning is fantastic, explain why in detail. 2. Skills Self-evaluation: List the skills you have and the skills you need to develop for your future career. While you should consider technical skills (qualifications and certifications), your focus should be on employability skills. 3. A SMART Goal Action Plan: Use the SMART approach to consider one short-term goal to develop an employability skill. Be specific and detailed. 4. Career Development Goals: List three to four (3-4) specific short-term goals that you want to develop before the end of university. These can relate to networking, volunteering (I am currently volunteering at Vinnie)/gaining relevant experience, or employability skill development (as identified in your Skills Self-evaluation). How will you achieve them and when will you take your first steps? 5. Timeline: Put four or five (4-5) key post-graduation goals into a timeline. These are larger steps in your career aspirations. Maybe you want to work abroad, get an industry-specific qualification or start your own business. Given the theory of planned happenstance, these are likely to be loose goals! (But loose goals and dreams can keep you motivated). Your Career Plan should include the following: 1.
