Your written critique should be grounded in core social work values and ethics and evaluate how well it addresses the primary drivers of violence, including social attitudes, gender norms and structural inequality that excuse it. You will explore and assess how well the chosen campaign works as a primary prevention initiative, according to the literature provided on what makes a good intervention. You will critically reflect on the alignment of the program with core social work values and ethics and implications for social work practice. For example, how well does the program:

• promote inclusive representations of masculinity?
• engage boys and men as allies?
• educate bystanders?
• align with core social work values and ethics?

You must apply the relevant key concepts explored in the readings and in-class resources during weeks 8-11 to your chosen primary prevention campaign. You are encouraged to go beyond the readings, e.g., engaging with an already-existing evaluation of the campaign. However, most of your citations and the Reference List should be unit of study readings.
