We are writing to inform you that On Friday September 15, we received a call from the company's Government Relations team about our taco shells. These shells are sold in grocery stores by Kraft Foods Inc., and containing a questionable ingredient. This Monday there is a specialist group called "Friend of the earth "plan to run an article about Taco Bell on Washington post using the questionable ingredient in their store-bought tacos shells. The corn that existing in taco shell has ingredient is called StarLink which contained the "Cry9c" protein. "Cry9c" is a pesticide that has been deemed unfit for human consumption. StarLink was prohibited from entering the diet of the human population. Taco Bell must attempt to control the situation before the article printed. There are many factors must be considered when addressing the problem at hand: Taco Bell's license agreement with Kraft. Friends of the Earth are backed by several scientists, chefs, farms, and both environmental and health leaders. . . . Kraft has issued a recall the taco shells in store; Kraft's recall does not include any products sold in Taco Bell restaurants. Taco Bell must work to keep good relation with Kraft and work the interest of both companies. We should do an urgent meeting with Kraft to discuss the breaking news. Decrease the amount of genetically modified ingredients in all products. Issue press release on restaurant food safety at the major newspaper companies. For example, cnn, nbc etc. before spread the problem by the "friends of the earth" on Monday.
