Collect data for at least 50 observations on a variable of interest to you (e.g., scores on a statistics exam, monthly sales of a pre-owned auto dealership, time spent preparing for the GMAT, number of bank failures per year). Be sure to identify the experimental unit prior to beginning your data search.

1. Before you actually collect the data, identify the probability distribution that you believe will be the best model for the variable you selected. 

2. Enter the data into a statistical software package and graph the distribution. Does the graph match the probability distribution you identified?
