The example of the NUWC in the box entitled “How Would You Do That? 1” demonstrated the strategy mapping process and how to develop a balanced scorecard. Review Exhibits 12 and 13 and generate suggestions for specific objectives, measures, targets, and initiatives that would complete NUWC’s use of the scorecard. If you prefer using the scorecard with a for-profit firm then apply the framework from scratch to a firm of your choosing.
