Data from example 10.10 Calculate the system reliability of the water distribution network shown in Figure 10.7 considering that node 1 is the source node and nodes 3, 4, and 5 are demand nodes. All of the pipes have the same failure probability equal to 8%. System reliability is defined as the ability of a system to supply water to all of the demand nodes. The pipes’ performances are independent of each other.
