The Human Resources Department of AMP Vacuum, Inc. has designed a series of employee e-training courses to support its quality inspired management program. All courses can be taken online; however, some of the courses cannot be taken until other courses are first completed as prerequisites. If all prerequisites are satisfied an employee may enroll in multiple courses simultaneously. The following table shows the required prerequisites and duration for each training course.
a. Construct an AOA and an AON network that describe the paths available to an individual employee who goes through the entire training program.
b. Calculate the minimum number of days required for an employee to complete all courses.
c. Construct a Gantt chart that can be used to track the earliest start times for scheduling the
entire training program.
