Use this correlation to make an argument in favor of the validity of RateMyProfessors.com as a legitimate evaluation tool. RateMyProfessors.com also has a chili pepper icon, which is meant to indicate a “hotness scale” for the professor. This hotness scale serves as a proxy for the exiness of the professor. It was found that the correlation between quality and sexiness is 0.64. In addition, it was found that the correlation between easiness of the professor and quality is 0.85 for instructors with at least 70 posts.
