Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for high school students in the United States to carry weapons (guns, knives, or clubs). To determine how prevalent this practice is a survey of high school students was undertaken. Students were asked whether they carried a weapon at least once in the previous 30 days (1 = No, 2 = Yes). Estimate with 95% confidence the proportion of all high school students who have carried weapons in the last 30 days.
