Volunteers were randomly assigned to one of two groups to test the speed with which a pain reliever brought relief. One group took the standard dose of extra-strength acetaminophen (group A) while the other group (group N) took a newly approved pain-relieving drug. The number of minutes until symptoms abated is listed for each member of each group. At α = 0.05 can it be concluded that there is a difference in time until pain is relieved?
