What legal problems can you think of that might arise if a surrogate mother changed her mind

Question:

What legal problems can you think of that might arise if a surrogate mother changed her mind immediately following birth and refused to release her child to the natural father, as she had contracted to do? For example, what if she moved to another state and assumed a new identity and life-would she be guilty of child-snatching (kidnapping by a relative) or only be responsible for breach of contract? Would your answer change if the surrogate mother was genetically related to the child (via her egg with in vitro fertilization)? Do any legal problems come to mind if a surrogate mother aborts the contracting parties' fetus?
