A great deal of judgment is required when estimating some fair values and sometimes a "reasonable range" for the possible estimate value is very large relative to materiality. What implications do the judgments (and potential biases) involved and the estimate's sensitivity to small changes to inputs have when it comes to auditing fair value estimates?
