As president of Midwest University’s Computing and Information Systems student club, he had helped organize a student-alumni networking event and was relieved to find the room packed for lunch and the afternoon seminar. He threw his backpack into a corner and headed for the podium. After a short introduction and thank you to everyone for coming, he stopped at the buffet table and filled a plate.
