(b) Suppose that state law requires plumbers in Walter’s state to have a plumber’s license and that this plumber does not have a license. Would the contract be enforceable? Why or why not?
(c) In the video, the plumber suggests that Walter has been “turned down by every other plumber in the valley.”Although the plumber does not even look at the house’s plumbing, he agrees to do the repairs if Walter gives him a check for $5,000 right away “before he changes his mind.” If Walter later seeks to void the contract because it is contrary to public policy, what should he argue?
