We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your primary focus will be development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the Android platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and develop new features
• Familiar with key Android concepts and frameworks
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

• Good time-management skills

Required Qualifications

• Proficient with JAVA and Android
• Should be familiar with the android studio version 3.5
• Should have knowledge about broadcast receivers for real time notifications
• Should have knowledge about AsynTask in android
• Should have strong knowledge of Retrofit 2 library in android
• Expertise in app memory management, multi-threading, networking and security
• Familiar with mobile trends/technologies, latest Android features and versions
• Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and problem solving.
• Experience with network communications protocols including data-interchange formats.

Additional Information

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree
• Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis
• Experience with at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Objective C, C#, Java
