Many companies make quarterly reports available on their corporate website. Quarterly reports also can be accessed through the SEC’s EDGAR system at www.sec.gov (under Filing Type, search for 10-Q). Access the most recent quarterly report for a company with which you are familiar to complete the following requirements.

Prepare a short report describing your findings for the following:

1. Whether the company provides the minimum disclosures required for interim reports.

2. Any disclosures the company provides that exceed the minimum disclosures required.

3. The various year-to-year comparisons that can be made using the disclosures provided in the quarterly report.
