9.9 Consider the following experimental data:

(i) Do the exact analysis, obtaining the ANOVA table, LS means for treat- ments, and the estimated variance for simple treatment comparisons (use SAS PROC GLM). (ii) Estimate the missing value and obtain the approximate ANOVA. (iii) Using the analysis of covariance technique, obtain a general expression for the treatment LS means and the variance of differences of LS means. (iv) Obtain numerical values for the expressions in (iii) using the data above. (v) Compare the results for (i) and (iv).
