As healthcare becomes more high tech, costs soar, high tech brings many wonderful advances, yet leaves behind the personal interaction between healer and patient that is in it healing. should we let tests replace a doctor's clinical judgment, experience, expertise, observation powers? do we define advances in health through more pharmaceuticals available? Is robotic surgery the way to go? What about the huge costs of healthcare due to children as young as 5 Y.O. becoming obese and type 2 diabetic? Should 90 year women be given hip replacements?

Has anyone had experience with healers other than M.D.S? Has anyone been to a naturopath, a chiropractor, an acupuncturist, a massage therapist, a Reikki therapist, a Chinese doctor or any other alternative health practitioner? If so, what was your experience like?
