• cognitive needs: curiosity and the need to think and know answers • aesthetic needs: need for order, beauty, symmetry, or artistic expression • transcendence: need to help others reach their full potential (self-actualization) and give a reasonable explanation as to why that need is a good addition, or makes the hierarchy of needs worse.

Part 3. Think of a celebrity, family member, or friend who is addicted to a drug. Describe how using drugs to avoid withdrawal symptoms is negative reinforcement of drug use.
