Question:
A 400V, 50Hz, 4 Pole, Y-Connected, 3- phase induction motor has the following Stand-Still parameters all referred to stator side.
Stator: R1=2Ω, X1=1.5Ω, Rc=2KΩ , Xm=1.5KΩ.
Rotor: R2=0.1Ω, X2=0.6Ω.
When the motor is operating at 1440rpm with a rotational loss of 220 watts, using approximate equivalent circuit model calculate the following:
a) The Slip Speed and Slip
b) The Stator losses
c) The air-gap Power
d) The rotor losses
e) The developed power and developed torque.
f) The output power and shaft torque.
g) The efficiency
Add core loss to the total input power.
