I am creating a ER diagram for blood bank managementsystem. I was wondering is there anything I am missing ?
These are the requirements :
- Your model must be presented in Third Normal Form (or higher)for full credit.
- Relationships must be labeled with verbs describing therelationships in both directions.
- Relationship lines must be terminated with cardinalitysymbols.
- Good use of naming conventions for entity types andrelationships.
- All primary keys and foreign keys must be clearly shown withinentity types.
- Entity types must be fully attributed, showing all dependentitems.
- Decompose all composite attributes and resolve all multi-valuedattributes into separate entities.
- EERDs must have at least one applied business rule, which maybe depicted in diagramming symbols or called out in a textannotation on the diagram.
- EERD must contain a minimum of five entity types not includingsubtype entities.
- EERD must depict at least one many-to-many relationship thathas been reduced to two entities and an associative entity. Allmany-to-many-relationships must be reduced.
- The data model must follow on logically from the student?s ownProject Proposal assignment unless explicitly authorizedin writing by the instructor. In general, the model must containthe same entity types and relationships described inthe proposal but may be extended with greater detail, aswould be expected in a business project of this type.
- Format your diagrams for business printing with a title, date,and page number.
