In this discussion, I want to cover the topic of technical skills like SQL in the workplace. Accountants, financial analysts, scientists, data analysts, and marketers are asked to have some technical skills like SQL before they graduate from college. It started with Excel skills way back in the 70s and 80s; now we are getting more technical with coding like SQL, Python, and R. How do you feel about this evolution? With these technical skills, are we not just playing into the hands of robots replacing us humans someday?
