The town of Stratford, Ontario, is very much dependent on the Shakespearean Festival it holds every summer for its financial well-being. Thousands of people visit Stratford to attend one or more Shakespearean plays and spend money in hotels, restaurants, and gift shops. As a consequence, any sign that the number of visitors will decrease in the future is cause for concern. Two years ago, a survey of 100 visitors asked how likely it was that they would return within the next 2 years. This year the survey was repeated with another 100 visitors. The likelihood of returning within 2 years was measured as:

4 = Very likely

3 = Somewhat likely

2 = Somewhat unlikely

1 = Very unlikely
