The book provides a solid blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application. It is especially handy for university courses and provides a good foundation for those new to the field. I would have given it five stars, but the font size is a tad on the small side for my liking. Nonetheless, it was delivered promptly and the quality of content is very good.

So, I randomly searched for resources to help me with my nonprofit accounting class and stumbled onto this free textbook. I wasn't expecting much but thought, why not? When I got to Chapter 6, which goes into fund accounting (something my professor kinda skimmed over), I suddenly felt less lost. That chapter broke down fund accounting in layers that just clicked—no extra fluff, just clear steps and examples that made it way easier to understand why funds matter in government and nonprofit stuff. Honestly, there was that moment where I was like, ahh, now I see what my homework questions actually meant! The book itself came super fast, surprisingly no beat-up corners or anything so it’s nice to open up a fresh clean book for once. One thing though, some of the charts in the chapter could've been a bit bigger—tiny print made me squint a little. But overall, the explanations in that fund accounting chapter made me think this text is really worth keeping around. I actually used what I learned to help explain something in group project meetings, and my teammates were thankful more than once lol. So, if you’re into accountability stuff or just want a solid explanation on funds, I’d say check this out and especially don’t miss Chapter 6. Makes getting the big picture way easier.

In terms of content and depth, this textbook is quite comprehensive. It's perfect for anyone dealing with governmental and nonprofit accounting, whether you're a student or a working professional. I didn't get a membership discount, but not a big deal since the book’s worth the price. Delivery was smooth and quick.
