In most presidential elections in the United States the voter turnout is quite low, often in the neighborhood of 50%. Political workers would like to be able to predict who is likely to vote. Thus, it is important to know which variables are related to intention to vote. One candidate is age. Is there sufficient evidence to infer that age (AGE) and intention to vote (DEFINITE) are linearly related?
