Another ROM application is the generation of timing and control signals. Figure 12-43 shows a 16 × 8 ROM with its address inputs driven by a MOD-16 counter so that the ROM addresses are incremented with each input pulse. Assume that the ROM is programmed as in Figure 12-6, and sketch the waveforms at each ROM output as the pulses are applied. Ignore ROM delay times. Assume that the counter starts at 0000.
