Go to the U.S. Treasury website at www.treasury.gov and find the most recent data on foreign transactions in U.S. securities and U.S. transactions in foreign securities using the following steps. Under the “Data” tab, click on “Treasury International Capital (TIC) System” and then, under item 2, click on “a. Monthly Transactions in Long-term Securities.” Under “C. Gross Foreign Purchases and Sales,” click on “2. Grand total (total of all countries.” This will download a file onto your computer that will contain the most recent information on foreign transactions.
