Nobel Peace Prize winner and Grameen Bank founder Muhammad Yunus says that the standard business school curriculum should be re-designed to include the idea that business does not have to be profit maximizing. Rather, students should learn how to manage businesses designed specifically to solve people’s problems (education, clean water, health care, roads, etc.) while recovering the project costs and recycling money in the process.
