As head of HR, you have traditionally taken the lead role in the recruitment and selection process. You have developed sophisticated and effective selection methods over the course of the past few years and have made very few recruitment mistakes as a result. The suggestion is to now devolve some of those recruitment and selection duties to the self-managed teams. They will take the lead in the selection process and HR will provide the necessary logistical support and guidance.
