Find the moment of inertia about the x-axis of a thin triangular plate of constant density δ whose base lies along the interval [0, b] on the x-axis and whose vertex lies on the line y = h above the x-axis. As you will see, it does not matter where on the line this vertex lies. All such triangles have the same moment of inertia about the x-axis.
