The Quality Institute (TQI) is a partnership of Northwest Florida State College, the University of West Florida, and the Economic Development Council of Okaloosa County. TQI is dedicated to the continual improvement of quality, productivity, and competitiveness in the private and public sectors. To this end, TQI offers education, training, consulting, and technical assistance in a wide range of areas, including quality management, supervision, manufacturing improvement, workplace health and safety, human resources and development, and management. The Institute for Professional Development (IPD) of Northwest Florida State College was established to help business, industry, and government agencies as well as individuals continually improve their performance in the global marketplace. A knowledgeable and well-trained workforce can provide a formidable competitive advantage. The IPD provides seminars, short courses, workshops, and customized contract training to help continually improve the performance of people, processes, products, and organizations. The IPD’s services are designed to help individuals and organizations not just survive in today’s intensely competitive marketplace but also prevail.
