Draw up a list of effectiveness goals you would use to measure the performance of (a) a fast-food restaurant and (b) a school of business.
Goals are important and need to be established so that the organization understands what direction it is heading and what needs to be accomplished in order to be successful. Managers use these goals to assess how well the organization is performing. Two types of goals used to evaluate organizational effectiveness are official goals and operative goals (Jones 2013). The following is a list of goals I would use;
-Improve customer service and minimize complaints and wrong orders compared to last quarter
-Minimize time from order placed to order delivered
-Offer extra items to every customer to help raise profit (example would you like cheese with that etc…)
-Improve job placement services to minimize unemployment rate among previous alumni
-Improve recruiting efforts to raise attendance levels from previous year
-Improve tutoring and academic advising to raise 4 year graduation rate
