Mergers and Acquisitions have catapulted many companies to make enormous profits and dominate specialized niches in the market place. Recently Comcast and Time Warner have proposed a merger.

The Federal Government of US is utilizing Anti-Trust Laws to block the merger. Should the Government apply regulatory powers over vastly profitable companies if no or few competitors exist?
