The recent debacle over the Oil Spill by British petroleum has led to criticism by all political persuasions of the Government’s role in the stemming of the leak. Liberals argued that the Government did not do enough to control the leak while Conservatives argue that it was too involved and that BP should clean up its own mess BP has placed ads in major newspapers that the plaintiffs’ attorneys are accumulating a vast share of the liability payouts by BP.
