In particular, alcohol was a strong performing category with Irish Whiskey spearheading these gains. You are the owner of a new Irish Whiskey Brand and have started talks with a US distributor who is interested in helping you sell your product in the USA. 

(a) Describe the FIVE steps in the exporting process that you will need to master to enter the US market. 

(b) Do you feel that exporting is the appropriate market entry strategy for an Irish Whiskey producer? Note in your answer, you may wish to comment on whether you feel producers should adopt a different strategy for EU markets versus Asian markets.
