To define what confidentiality is it is what deals with the privacy of information. Confidentiality is considered by security IT professionals as the most important part of the CIA triad which is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. To define encryption it is the process of taking plain text, like a text message or email and scrambling it into a cipher. Encryption is the security tool used to secure the secrecy of sensitive data stored on computer servers or distributed over the Internet or via other computer networks to ensure the confidentiality of information. According to Nortons when referring to what encryption does it states that " This helps protect the confidentiality of digital data either stored on computer systems or transmitted through a network like an internet".

As far as the labs all I can tell my fellow students is to do them and repeat until you get them down, I am currently still on last weeks lab because I did not complete it enough to understand it from last week and I want to make sure I have a full understanding of it. Hands-on is the best way for me to learn. Have a great week everyone.
