Compressive strength is a widely accepted measure to access the performance of a given concrete mixture. Considering this aspect of concrete is important because it is the primary measure determining how well concrete can withstand loads that affect its size. It accurately tells us whether a particular mix is suitable to meet the requirements of a specific project. Compression strength gives an overall indication of quality of concrete as it is directly related to the lifelong performance of the concrete structure. The strength of the concrete shows the ability of the structure to withstand various loads (i.e. Dead Load, Live Load, Earthquake Load, Wind Load, etc..).
