As a nursing student born and raised in the Philippines, in my nation, I am highly dedicated to improving the caliber of care for pediatric patients. I have seen families' difficulties in obtaining high-quality healthcare, and nurses may play an essential part in addressing these difficulties.
In my future career as a pediatric nurse, I would like to establish and implement evidence-based nursing practices that will improve the care of all pediatric patients. We can make a big difference in the lives of children and their families by guiding our approach with the most significant available evidence.
I intend to accomplish this goal by completing my nursing courses with a solid foundation in evidence-based practice. I seek opportunities to collaborate with other nurses and healthcare professionals dedicated to evidence-based practice. I am participating in research initiatives aimed at improving pediatric patient care quality. We are creating and putting in place evidence-based nursing practice guidelines and protocols. I am teaching other nurses and healthcare workers the value of evidence-based practice.
