   • What is the existing legislation for this criminal issue in each of the countries you chose? (Include level of courts, specific language from law, penalties and any exceptions such as how the law might apply to a minor). A graphic organizer may be useful here.
   • For each nation, can you identify the purpose of the legislation, the factors that influence the law, and any recent or proposed changes that are relevant?
   • What visuals can display the information in an interesting or different way? (Include maps, infographics, links to video or audio clips). Be sure to be explicit if there is something you want the viewer to note (e.g., "Notice the increase in gun ownership in these countries.")
   • How does the trial process differ among the three nations you chose?
   • Are there certain identifiable groups who face discrimination or who are particularly vulnerable?
   • What is the international stance on this issue? (Consider organizations such as the UN). What role is the international community playing? (e.g., Interpol, ICC, ICJ).
   • What is Canada's perspective on the issue? How is Canada taking action beyond its borders with regards to this issue? How is Canada working domestically on this issue?
