Questions 2: Mr. J.R. Evans is the managing director of Removals Ltd., presently audited by Tickers, Chartered Accountants. He has informed you that his board of directors wishes to appoint your firm as auditors to the company in place of Tickers, but he considers that Tickers will not be willing to resign. You are required to write formally to Mr. Evans, setting out the statutory and other procedures that will have to be adopted by both the company and your firm, and which may be adopted by Tickers, in connection with your proposed appointment.
