Research shows that people pay attention to several aspects of their work environment, including how they are treated, the relationships they form with colleagues and managers, and the actual work they perform. When the workplace and job characteristics embrace the factors contained in Figure 4.2 below (Chapter 4), job satisfaction and organizational are likely to increase.
