Critique the questionnaire administered to BUS8370 students in the GBM program in February 2019. The purpose was to obtain information in order to assist the redesign of the course to create a new course titled Business Research and Data Analysis. You will critique the design of the questionnaire.

By using the material taught in this lecture, critique the questionnaire that was handed to you. Ensure that you are using the individual components discussed in the PowerPoint presentation. Use these components as a check list against which you are to analyse the approach, efficiency and reliability of the questionnaire. Note that all researchers critique their work so that the next time, they will create a better questionnaire. Please use the point form provided, where you will first write the component that you are analysing, followed by your observations.

►Purpose and Introduction - The purpose of the questionnaire was not justified. It focused solely on numerical and certain business terms, which contributed less towards course up-gradation.                                                                                                  

►Content - The content is not acceptable as one of the few important aspects were absent, like the abstract sentiments of the students.                                                                                                  

 

►Types and forms or questions – There were many open-ended questions that would attain accurate answers to the researcher because the students can answer as they like, Moreover the questions were recall-dependant questions where they had to recall the memories of the past in order to answer the questions.                                                                                                    

 

►Structure – The Structure was entertainable because the inquiries were general initially and, when reaching the end, were specific, ensuring to attain particular answers.                                                                                                  

►Question Sequence – The question sequence was quite acceptable which resulted in finding it easy to answer the questions.                                                                                                  

 

►Length – The quality of questions and length of the questionnaire was a quite promising which avoided time consumption made the process fast.                                                                                                  

►Reliability and Validity – The authenticity of data will probably be high as they were ensured that their identity would be kept hidden thus obtaining honest answers.                                                                                                  

►Language – The language used is simple and understandable which in the end would enhance a better understanding experience. No complicated words were used.
