2. What type of dividends declared by the company?
3. How much cash dividends paid by the company?
4. Is there any share split done? If yes, what are the reasons?
5. Are there any shares held in treasury?
6. Do the company have AOCI?, if yes, then analyze the movements for AOCI in the 3 years
7. Are there any reserves? What are their types? And how they are calculated?
Report 2 ------- Assessment of compliance with IFRS Equity disclosures
Read IAS 1 – Presentation of Financial Statements (from IAS plus on the internet) and get familiar with the required disclosures needed for EQUITY.
Construct a checklist of mandatory items to be disclosed for EQUITY under IFRS from IAS 1 (ROSC checklist is offered for help).
Score each company with the required disclosures for EQUITY ONLY by giving 1, 0 or N/A
Calculate an OVERALL IFRS disclosure compliance score for the company in each of the 3 years by dividing the number of actual disclosures over the total number of applicable disclosures required.
Comment on the company’s compliance with IFRS (high-moderate-low-poor).
Report 3 --------- Assessment of the Company’s Equity Performance
• Conduct a Comprehensive Ratio Analysis using charts and graphs for the 3 years to give a full picture about the Equity performance of the company? The minimum ratios to be calculated are 3 ratios.
