In a recent municipal election, the list of “eligible” voters contained 102,412 names. However, the list may contain a substantial number of names of voters who for one reason or another are ineligible. To examine the problem, an auditor was hired to delve into the matter. A random sample of 659 names was taken from the list and determined whether they were eligible (1) or ineligible (2). Produce a confidence interval estimate of the total number of ineligible voters.
