TYU 2.3 The secondary transformer voltage of the rectifier circuit shown in Fig- ure 2.6(a) is vs = 50 sin[2 (60)t] V. Each diode has a cut-in voltage of V = 0.7V, and the load resistance is R = 10 k2. Determine the value of the filter capacitor that must be connected in parallel with R such that the ripple voltage is no greater than Vr2 V. (Ans. C = 20.3 F)
